Hi folks! Need a quick tag for a gift? Here is a perfect solution using one of the new stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog. The Holiday Catalog goes live September 1st, but if you are a demonstrator, or join my group – you can get access to it earlier! 🙂 Just one of the many perks to joining my team. If you need a catalog, let me know so I can get one to you!
Here is the tag I made using the “Half Full” stamp set:
Completely cute, and super simple to make.
Check out the video I put together, it’s uncut… and it only took 3 attempts to get this. 🙂 I did realize afterwards I need to move the camera a little closer to the table… So I’ll get the setup changed a bit for next time.
I hope you like it and see how easy it can be to make! Remember, this stamp set will be available on Sept 1st, unless you are a demonstrator – you can pre-order it!
Thanks for looking,
Lots going on this week … First.. If you have not seen it yet, go check out the weekly deals from Stampin’ Up! They are changing things up, and the Weekly Deals as we know them are going away on April 18th! But don’t worry completely, they will have special offers to replace them, just less frequent, in the future. 🙂
You don’t want to miss out on the deals they have there right now, there are over a dozen items, including the Rose Garden and Sunburst thinlits!

Next – If you have not contacted me back yet on my class this weekend, time is running out!
Class is Saturday at 1:00 pm – make sure to RSVP by tonite!
Last – I wanted to share another video I created for you…
It’s using Stampin’ Markers and Watercoloring on a Block. I’m not sure it has an official name, but it’s fun and turns out really neat.
I used the “In the Meadow” stamp set from the Occasions catalog with the Archival Black ink, and colored the block with Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Marina Mist markers. After coloring on the block, you mist it with water, then ‘stamp’ it on the paper.. you get different looks depending on what type of paper and how much water you use. In the video I did not have my handy Stamping Spritzers with me, so I used an old container from my Stamping Mist cleaner… Next time I’ll have my Spritzers! 🙂
Give it a try and let me know how it goes, I’d love to share your samples here with others!
(Here is the sample I used for inspiration mentioned in the video.)
If there are other techniques you are looking to learn, let me know so I can put something together for you!
Thanks for stopping by!

So this video thing is pretty cool.. but it’s going to take a few tries to get all the wrinkles out, I can see that! I took a crack at making a few more, but still need to edit some of them down a bit.. so stay tuned for even more. The one I have for you today was another card from my past class. It’s using one of the Sale-A-Bration sets, What I Love, as well as the sentiment from Rose Wonder, in the Occasions catalog.
* Don’t forget there are only a few more days left for you to earn FREE products during Sale-A-Bration. It ends on March 31st! If you’ve got a wish list you need to tend to (please use the Hostess Code: AWD2Q7MF), or if you want to join my team, this is the time to make that happen!
SAB is the best time – since you can earn even more when you join the fun before March 31 by joining my team. You can read more about that by clicking here: Join Mary Ann’s team!
Ok…. back to the video… This is a 2-step stamp, although I think I only referred to ‘stamping off’ when I was explaining the technique. This is a cute card I saw from Lisa Young online and thought it was perfect for a quick flowery birthday card. I used Island Indigo and Pear Pizzazz for the flower and leaves. I added some rhinestones for some sparkle.
The trick with this one was to not overthink it! Just stamp away.. again and again. That’s what makes this one cool, there’s no perfect lines! It’s supposed to be a bit messy. 🙂
Check out the video and let me know what you think.
As for the video itself.. yes… I know the table was shaking a bit.. I’m working on fixing that. 🙂 and, I love getting schooled on “youtube” with pointers from my kid. not sure how I feel about that one yet. Apparently he watches more videos than I do, and took it upon himself to go look up my video and watch it so he could critique it. HA! what a nice kiddo.
That’s right – I made it to the next milestone…. VIDEOS!!!
With a little help from my hubby to set up the camera stand (to cut some pvc pipe), and some extra inspiration from watching my upline (Linda Bauwin – who just hit her million dollars in personal sales!! YAY Linda!), I decided it was time to get into the video making world, as I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time.
Although, just because I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time, it doesn’t mean that the first one out of the gate is perfect! HAA! I know it’s not. But, it’s a start.. and you always have to start somewhere!
For this one, I just picked one of the cute cards from a recent class, and explained how to make it.. I tried to keep it upbeat, casual, and even threw in a few side comments here and there as text that I didn’t actually say.
I would LOVE to hear back from you on a few items…
How did you like it? What could be improved? And, of course, what would you like to see next? 🙂
As I mentioned, I’m still working out the kinks… I would like to get them a little shorter (and I realized upload times are longer than I was expecting!), and I’ll need to stabilize the camera a little more so it doesn’t wiggle as much!
Just a few quick notes on some other items….
– Sale-a-Bration ends on March 31st.. If you are going to place an online order, please use the Hostess Code: AWD2Q7MF through March 30th.
– If you would like to join my team, During SAB is a great time because you get an additional $30 in product! – Just ask how!
– I’ve scheduled the next class date – Saturday, April 9th.. So look for more info on that soon and save that date.
Alrighty – on the the video –
Can you believe it? LOL… Don’t forget to leave me some feedback, I’m looking forward to it!
