If you saw my last post, you saw a preview of the new Stampin’ Blends markers that will be coming out in the near future. I have another quick card for you today using those markers, showing you how nifty they really are:
As you can see this is a really simple, quick card – but so pretty with the shading of the new Blends. I used the Floral Statements and the Sheet Music stamp sets for this, as well as some sponging around the edges.
I used several different colors (Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette) to get the flowers done, then both the light and dark colors of the Old Olive for the leaves. Not only do they blend together nicely to look good, they are easy to use! You get two different tips on each marker so you can use the brush side to color a bigger area, or the smaller nib for smaller areas or to scrub the colors together.
For just a few more days, you can get the Blends as part of your starter kit if you join my team! Right now it’s only available to demonstrators. The awesome part is you can get them with the starter kit discount AND… FREE Shipping! This really is a fantastic offer.
Starter kits are available for $99, and you get to pick $125 in product! That’s $26 in product for FREE, and you get FREE shipping (just pay tax). You can pick the Blends as part of that kit, or any other combination of products you choose. Just contact me asap to join my team or click here. Hurry though, as the Blends are only available to Demonstrators through October 15th!

It’s time for the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop, and it really is global!! This hops around every month on the first Friday. There are folks all around the world joining this, so please take a look at all the fun stuff people have to share. Each month is a different theme, and this month it’s Halloween!
For the past few years, we have had some unintentional pumpkin vines in our yard, and have had dozens of pumpkins each year. This summer we finally cleaned it all up, so sadly, I have no more pumpkins. That is why I chose pumpkins for my Halloween card! Here is my creation:
I used the Hostess special stamp set, Merry Patterns, and paired it up with Season to Sparkle to get the Happy Halloween and spooky bird! That little bird fit right in perched up on top of the cute swirl!
The Designer Series Paper is the Painted Autumn, and is one of the packs on sale just for a few more days during the Buy 3 get 1 Free special.
Here’s a tip for this one – I actually cut the rectangle, then cut the pumpkins from the middle of it on the back side. You don’t see that part anyway, so no sense in wasting good pumpkins!
Some sponging on the white space, and some Burlap ribbon give it a more rustic feel.
One thing that is completely new is how I colored the words!! Stampin’ Up is going to be releasing new alcohol markers, called Stampin’ Blends! Right now you can only get them for a short time, and ONLY if you are a demonstrator!
If you want to join my team, you can get these in your starter kit!! Just contact me to learn more, or click here to join. 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this not-so-spooky Halloween card, as I sure did! Don’t forget to leave a comment and visit all the other wonderful stops along the hop today!

Hi folks! What an exciting start to the month of October! Halloween blog hops (there is another one on Friday, so don’t miss it), TWO Stampin’ Up Specials, a Stamp-a-Stack class for World Card Making Day… and a whole bunch of cards to share in between everything going on!
For this fall themed card I have for you, I used one of the Designer Series Papers included in the Buy 3 Get 1 Free special – Painted Autumn. It’s got a lovely mix of colors, and they fit right on with the colors picked for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #261.
The colors screamed ‘fall’ to me.. and as hard as I tried to make a neon green flower, it didn’t quite turn out. 🙂 So, I made a Coral one instead!
I love all the elements of this one.. It’s got a strip of the DSP with Cajun Craze behind it. The flower from Painted Harvest is stamped with both the Calypso Coral and Cajun Craze. I used both Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide for the middle and the leaves.
The vellum leaves are punched with the coordinating Leaf punch (available in the bundle to save 10%), and all washed over with some Wink of Stella for the sparkle. A little bit of the Tranquil Tide ribbon is peeking out from the bottom. I also used the same Layered Leaves embossing folder as one of my Halloween cards since it fit in nicely with the other leaves.
Such a fun card to make! Don’t forget to check out the DSP special so you can pick up some of the fun papers to make your own creations! 🙂

Welcome to this month’s “Blogging Friends Blog Hop!”
Happy October folks! It’s the first of the month, and time for the Halloween version of the Blogging Friends Blog Hop!
There are so many wonderful Halloween items in the Holiday Catalog, so I will be sharing more throughout the month. Today I’ve chosen a few of my favorites.
One of the holiday themed Designers Series Papers, Spooky Night DSP, is great for Halloween with the combination of Black and Orange, in this case – Pumpkin Pie.
One of the designs has multiple prints of the same tree with moon image, ready for cutting out and making multiple projects! I paired it up with the Cat Punch and some Black Rhinestones for the whole spooky cat look.
Along the side of the DSP is the Vintage Crochet Trim. The Happy Halloween stamp is from the Spooky Cat set which coordinates with the punch. You can get this as a bundle and save 10%! A little bit of vellum is behind the sentiment and I used the Layered Leaves embossing folder for the extra dimension in the background.
To finish it off I added Wink of Stella all over the tree:
Such a quick and easy card ready for Halloween!
Stay tuned for more Halloween samples, as well as information on some NEW Stampin’ Up specials for the new month. You won’t want to miss out on those!
