Hey folks! I’ll have lots to share after this past weekend, as I got to attend a fantastic Stamp Camp – Stamping in the Woods! I’ll be getting some of the projects we made up over the next weeks, as there were many projects! I had a blast stamping, enjoying the weather and making new friends.
For today, I wanted to share another one of the birthday cards we made at my last class, since I’ll have a new set to share soon from this coming weekend’s class.
If you haven’t had a chance to take a look…
My next class is this coming Saturday, March 19th, and we will be doing a stack of Birthday Cards. YAY! Everybody needs birthday cards. 🙂
If you want to attend, please RSVP by Thursday night…
Now, on to the card I want to share:
It’s using the bundle that includes the Botanical Blooms Stamp set and Botanical Builder Framelits. The flowers are special because the new flower die has that pop-up part included! The double petals are all attached, so it’s even easier to make pretty flowers. I sponged a bit of extra color on the edges to give them even more depth.
The sentiment is actually from the latest Paper Pumpkin kit! I love that you get new stamps with each kit, that you can use over and over!
If you want to learn more about the Paper Pumpkin option, check out my site and click here: <Paper Pumpkin> You can still get a discounted 3 month subscription and earn a FREE Sale-A-Bration!
Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st, so time is running out to earn your free products! If you have any questions, just let me know – I’ll be happy to answer them for you!

Hi folks! I have an elegant card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches FMS180 Challenge. Here’s the layout I used:
Here is the card I made:
I love how this turned out, and I actually used an additional inspiration to go along with it. For the Stampin’ in the Woods retreat, we make our own name tags (and then we all vote on them, too!). I made mine using some of the same supplies as this card. Here’s a picture of that one (despite the lighting being off for these, it really is Sahara Sand):
I’m proud to say mine came in the top 3 choices this time. YAY!
I used the Something Borrowed DSP for these, as well as Sahara Sand and Whisper White card stock. The sentiment on the card came from the Hello Life Stamp Set – which has a coordinating Project Kit in the Occasions Catalog.
The bow is tied using the Linen thread, and there is also some Sahara Sand Lace Trim. There are two different size butterfly punches and some Pearls for accents to finish it off. The name tag also uses the Butterflies Thinlit and the Little Letters Thinlits.
Thanks for looking, and don’t forget FREE Shipping this week! 🙂
With Easter this weekend, I thought I’d share some of the cute treat holders we made at the “Stampin’ in the Woods” retreat! We had lots of spectacular projects Linda designed for us, so I picked out the bunnies specifically for today. 🙂
This first one holds a regular size Hershey chocolate bar:
The Fringe scissors make the grass so easy to do! A little bit of sponging and a few punches, and this is a snap to assemble. The background used the Specialty Designers Series paper from Sale-A-Bration, but ANY paper can be used!
This one uses our treat cups (filled with jelly beans of course):
This last one is a box that you can store anything in! I’m guessing chocolate would be a good idea. And, it has a magnet under the nose, so you don’t have to worry about losing your treats! He’s also got a cotton ball tail, but it’s hiding in this picture. 🙂
The Tag Topper punch used here makes a great bunny face, and so quick to do.
If you like these and want to learn more, please contact me! I’d love to show you how to make these, or better yet – join my team so you can come with me for the next retreat!
Have a Happy Easter weekend everyone!
It was kind of hot and muggy today, so of course I thought of Christmas cards!
First, I wanted to show the end result of that yellow and blue card…
Pretty neat, eh? Not what I was originally expecting, in fact it was much cooler! And it was so simple, too. If you want to learn how to make this, just let me know, and I can teach you!
Now we will go from warm, watery, beachy scenes to winter! I have several more samples from Stamping in the Woods, and will share them here.. but not all at once! 🙂
I have to spread them out a little… so here is one of the first ones:
Talk about a WOW! And it is even glitterier (is that a word? if not, it is now) in person. I hope everyone thinks it’s as cute as I think it is.
You can come see it in real life at my Open House coming up on Sept 6th! Remember to RSVP if you have not already!
OH!! If you have not checked out the Promotions page, make sure you do that like now! There are a few specials that will be ending soon, and you don’t want to miss out!
The one ending in another day is the Short & Sweet sign-up promotion. Check it out here:
If there are any questions, just drop me a line!
As promised, here are some updates from last weekend’s wonderful retreat!
This is the lovely cabin I stayed in…
Since the weather was fantastic, we took a little stroll down the road, and you see this:
Then, sure enough, just like the sign says… this is what you will end up in. Just don’t go wandering around at night, you’ll end up right in the water! 🙂
Here are some of the wonderful ladies that were there that weekend:
Of course, I can’t forget the stamping… Oh, how there were so many exciting projects! I’ll leave you with a sneak peek at one of them:
Don’t forget about the Open House coming up, it’s getting closer!
I will have all the projects from the Woods, as well as some others from Convention for you to look through. You won’t want to miss it!
If you have not RSVP’d yet… please let me know!
More Woods updates to come… Mak
