Hello!! For everyone that missed the last card class, you missed a good time!
We had a blast! It’s not just about the stamping, it’s about the people, the sharing, and the good times, too. 🙂
Here are some of the cards we put together this time. The first one uses Sassy Salutations, and everyone customized their cards by picking the saying they needed. It has a butterfly from Papillion Potpouri punched out with the Elegant Butterfly punch. The background is from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar. That set has so many options, it’s great for mixing and matching with other stamps – not just for a calendar! The Wisteria Wonder seam binding ribbon ties it all together (pun not intended! LOL).
The next one is using the acrylic block with markers and spritzing with water, and then Sheltering Tree for the main image. I used the new Tree builder punch for a cloud and subtle flowers on the tree out of vellum. I think the Melon Mambo and Elegant Eggplant worked well together here to give it a sunset feeling to it.
The last one I have to share is one I have seen several times shared by others, (one I saw was by Rachael Lewsley) and thought it was too cute – so I had my group make it, too! This can be turned so the card is vertical instead of horizontal in case you want an extra tall dessert. We even had a few toppling over! It’s using the Sprinkles of Life set, and the images are clear embossed on colored cardstock, then punched or cut out using the Tree Builder punch for the topping. It’s got the new Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron, as well as So Saffron and Pink Pirouette. Some pearls added to the top look like ice cream toppings!
The new Catalog goes live on June 2nd, so you can also get your hands on some of these wonderful new products! Just contact me! 🙂
Look for my next class on June 20th.. although I am looking to get another one in there before that date – based on availability… so if you want that one, let me know right away and I’ll get it added to the calendar.
